Why you need it?

Many Native Americans have used Echinacea, or purple cone flower, for centuries. Recent scientific research confirms the immune boosting benefits of the plant.

Antibacterial, antiviral, Immunostimulant. It is used specially for upper respiratory tract infections.

Parts Used:

Root and rhizome.

Constituents:

Essential oils (including hu-mulene and caryophy-lene), glycoside and isobutylalkla-mines and sesquiter-pines.

Precautions

GRAS - Generally recognized as safe. No adverse reactions, side effects or overdose symptoms expected when taken within the recommended amounts.

Do not take in combination with immunosuppressant medicines (e.g. corticosteroid and cyclosporine)

You should not take Echinacea without consulting a physician if you have an auto-immune illness, such as lupus, or other progressive diseases, such as tuberculosis or multiple sclerosis.

Those who are allergic to flowers of the daisy family should take Echinacea with caution.

Echinacea is generally recognized as safe when taken in the prescribed amounts. However, the safety or otherwise of the use of Echinacea during pregnancy or lactation has not been determined.
